Invite them anyway. One email address can hold several NestliCare profiles: a parent at your daycare, a parent at another daycare, a staff login. An invitation you send to an email that already has an account links your daycare to that existing login instead of creating a new one.

What the parent experiences:

1. They open the invitation link from the email.
2. The page recognizes the account and shows **Sign in to accept**. No password-creation form appears.
3. They sign in with the password they already have and click **Accept**.
4. Done. Your daycare now appears in their app, and they move between profiles with the profile switcher on their profile screen.

## If you see "already has an account" while adding them

The **Add Parent** form creates a brand-new login, so it stops when the email already has one and offers to send an invitation instead. Take that offer. The invitation path is the right one for an existing account.

## What still genuinely blocks you

- They are already a member of that same family.
- They were removed or their family was archived: restore the existing record from the **Archived** tab or with **Restore** on the member, rather than adding them again.
