Two different tablets for two different audiences:

- **Kiosk Mode** faces **parents**, at the door. It shows your center's check-in code (or takes a typed 4-digit pickup code) so parents check children in and out, and staff scan the same code to clock in. Set it up under **Organization → Kiosk Mode**.
- **Room Mode** faces **staff**, inside a classroom. It pins a shared tablet to one room; any teacher taps their own avatar and logs activities, meals, naps, diapers, and photos under their own name, without individual sign-ins. Handy when you do not want teachers logging from personal phones.

Both lock to their screen until an admin exits with a password, and the two can run on separate tablets at the same time. Neither is required: a printed QR poster replaces the kiosk tablet for most small daycares, and teachers logging from their own phones replaces Room Mode.
