Archiving a family, in one confirmation, does exactly four things:

1. Archives the parents and children (parents can no longer log in).
2. Withdraws all active enrollments.
3. Cancels pending invitations.
4. Cancels active auto-pay authorizations.

What it does **not** do: delete anything. Invoices, payment records, attendance, and history are all kept, which is what you want for billing and licensing.

It is fully reversible: the Families page has an **Archived** tab; restore the family from there if they come back. The one thing you rebuild after restoring is room enrollment, since archiving withdrew it.

Reach for a permanent delete only for a family created by mistake that never had real activity. For everyone who actually attended, archive.
