At year-end you need two things: clean numbers for your own accountant, and an answer for parents who ask for a total they can use on their taxes. Here's where each comes from.

## For your accountant

Under **Reports**, the **Billing** category has everything a bookkeeper wants:

- **Billing Ledger**: the full transaction log for a period.
- **Payments**: payments received and credits applied.
- **Invoices**: everything you billed.
- **Outstanding Balances**: unpaid balances.

Set the date range to the full year, open the report you need, and click **Export CSV**. That hands your accountant the raw records without you retyping anything. See [Reports overview](/owners/reports/reports-overview).

## For a parent who asks for a year-end total

Parents often need what they paid you for a dependent-care tax credit. NestliCare doesn't generate a formal year-end tax statement, so:

- Point the parent to their **payment history in the app**, where they can see what they've paid.
- Or pull the year's **Payments** or **Billing Ledger** report, and send the parent their family's total.

You can also have signed documents and periodic CSV reports emailed to you automatically as an off-platform paper trail. Set that up under Settings → Reports (Email Reports & Backups). It's a good habit for year-end.
