The staff dashboard starts with a short "Needs your attention" list for the room you have open. It is built from records your daycare already keeps, so it shows nothing you did not enter, and sections your daycare does not use are simply not there.

## What can appear

- **Allergies and conditions.** Every child in the room with an allergy, medical condition, medication or dietary restriction on file, children who are here today first. Tap to see the details. This is the card to read before snack.
- **Logs still to do.** How many children who came in today have no meal, nap, or diaper or potty entry yet (and bottles, in rooms that log them). Tap a count to open the logger on that type with those children already selected.
- **Health checks.** Children here today who have not had their daily health check. Only shown if your daycare does daily health checks.
- **Expiring soon.** Immunization records and child documents that expire in the next 30 days, or already have.
- **Photo consent.** Children here today without photo consent on file, only where the law makes consent a requirement.
- **Approved pickups.** Someone other than a parent has been approved to pick a child up today, with their name.
- **Birthdays this week.** Who is turning what, and when.

When none of these apply, the section says so in one line.

## Counts on the activity tiles

The same numbers show as small badges on the Meal, Snack, Nap, Diaper, Potty and Bottle tiles in the activity logger: the number of children who came in today and have no entry of that kind yet. Meal and Snack share one count, Diaper and Potty share one. Tapping a badged tile selects those children for you; deselect any who don't apply.

## Notes

- "Came in today" means checked in at any point today, so a child who left early still counts for the logs they were here for.
- The list refreshes when you switch rooms or pull to refresh. It never sends a notification and it is not a compliance record; it is a glance.
- Admins see the same section on the staff dashboard when they open a room, and their own admin dashboard keeps its own attention cards for timesheets, rooms and billing.
