See your work schedule

Where to find today's shifts and the full week in the mobile app, and what the Cover, On Leave and Not scheduled labels mean.

Your shifts appear in two places in the app, and both are on the Dashboard tab. This screen works the same way on iPhone and Android.

Today, at a glance

Partway down the Dashboard tab there is a card headed Today's Schedule showing the shifts you are working today — start and end time, and where you are working.

If you are not scheduled today, the card reads No shifts today and, underneath, Home room: followed by your room. Your home room is where the app puts you by default; it is not a shift.

If you have approved leave today, the card says You're on leave today instead.

The whole week

Tap Full Schedule in the top-right corner of that card. This opens My Schedule, a week at a time.

  • Use the arrows either side of the week label to move between weeks. The label reads This Week, Next Week or Last Week, and beyond that counts them out, for example In 3 Weeks.
  • Home Room: at the top names your default room.
  • Each day shows either your shift, your leave, or Not scheduled.

Pull down to refresh. The screen also refreshes itself whenever you come back to the app, so a roster your manager rebuilt while you were away will be up to date by the time you look.

What the labels mean

  • Cover — you are working in a room that is not your home room that day.
  • On Leave — approved leave. The type of leave is shown next to it.
  • Pending — you asked for leave that day and nobody has answered yet. Treat the day as a normal working day until it is approved.
  • Not scheduled — no shift published for you that day.

Times shown are your center's local times, not your phone's. If you travel, the schedule still reads in the center's clock.

If the schedule is empty

"No schedule published for this week." Your manager has not published that week yet. Rosters are often only published a week or two ahead, so future weeks are commonly blank.

Every day says "Not scheduled". Usually the same thing — nothing published yet. It can also appear when your staff profile has no home room set, in which case ask an owner to assign you one.

There is no Today's Schedule card at all. On iPhone the card is hidden when your organization does not use staff scheduling. Ask an owner whether scheduling is switched on. On Android the card is shown either way, so it may be visible for a colleague and not for you.

You can also see the same week on the web dashboard under My Schedule, if you prefer a bigger screen.
