Two homes, one child
Set up a child with separated or co-parenting families so both parents stay informed and billing stays clear.
Plenty of children have two households. NestliCare handles this cleanly: both parents can be members of the same family, each with their own login, and you decide who gets billed.
Add both parents
On the family's card in Families & Children → Families, use Add member for each parent. Give each their own email address so each gets their own invitation and login. If you're creating the family from scratch, add the first parent in the Add Family form and the second with Add member afterward.
Both parents then see the same child's feed, photos, and updates in their own app. Nobody is left out of the day.
Decide who gets the bill
When you add or edit a parent, the Primary Billing checkbox marks who invoices are addressed to. Check it for the parent who pays. Only one parent needs to be primary; the other still sees everything else.
If the parents split tuition, the simplest approach is to bill the primary parent and let them settle between themselves. NestliCare bills one family, not two separate households for the same child.
If access needs to change
Custody situations change, and sometimes a parent asks you to remove the other's access. That's your center's decision to make, following your own policy and any court orders. When you decide, remove a parent with Remove from family on their row. We act on your instruction; we don't adjudicate between parents.
