See your admissions funnel and who is waiting on a reply
Check how this week's inquiries turned into tours, waitlist spots and enrollments, and see which families are still waiting to hear from you.
The Admissions funnel sits at the top of Admissions & CRM → Leads. It answers two questions: how did the families who inquired in a given week do, and who is waiting on you right now.
Read the funnel
The funnel counts the families who inquired in the range you pick, then shows how many of them got to each step:
- New inquiries: every lead that came in during the range.
- Toured: the family toured, or their tour date has passed.
- Waitlisted or admitted: you put them on the waitlist or offered a spot.
- Enrolled: you converted the lead to a family.
Each step shows its share of the inquiries in brackets. A family counts at the furthest step it ever reached. So a family that toured and later said no still counts as toured. Lost leads and completed enrollment packets are listed under the funnel.
Pick a range from the menu: This week (Monday to today), Last week, This month, Last 30 days, or Custom range. Weeks and days follow your daycare's time zone.
If you have more than one center, a table under the funnel splits the numbers by center.
Waiting on you
The list on the right shows families whose last word is newer than yours, longest wait first. A family is waiting when they:
- sent an inquiry through your online form or center page and nobody has moved the lead along yet,
- replied to an email you sent from the lead, or
- finished their enrollment packet.
Emailing them from the lead, replying in the thread, logging a call, or booking a tour takes them off the list. Automatic emails (the form's thank-you note and nurture emails) don't count as a reply.
Each row has a tag:
- Waiting 2d: they have been waiting two days.
- New · today: the inquiry came in today.
- Ready: they finished the enrollment packet and are waiting for you.

Ask NestliAI
You can also ask NestliAI: "How are admissions looking this week, and who still needs a reply from me?" It answers with the same funnel and the families waiting longest. Add a center's name to ask about one center.
Troubleshooting
A family I already called is still on the list. Log the call on the lead (Activity → Log Call). Calls you don't log are invisible to NestliCare.
A lead I added myself doesn't show as waiting. That's on purpose. If you typed the lead in, you were already talking with the family. Leads you haven't contacted in a week show under Today instead.
