The Attendance Change History report shows every change made to attendance records after they were recorded. Auditors and subsidy agencies often ask for this alongside the sign-in/out records, to see that corrections are tracked rather than overwritten.

Run it

  1. Go to Reports and pick Attendance Change History under Attendance & Safety.
  2. Pick the center, an optional room, and the date range.
  3. Click Print and choose Save as PDF, or Export CSV.

The date range is the range of attendance days. A correction made today to a day last month shows up when you run last month.

What each row shows

  • Changed: the date and time the change was made, in the center's time zone
  • Changed by: the person who made it ("Kim Ray (Admin)"), or System for an automatic check-out
  • Attendance day and Student: the record that changed
  • Type and What changed: for example Times edited: Check-in 9:50 AM → 8:00 AM

What counts as a change

TypeWhat happened
Times editedSomeone changed a check-in or check-out time. The row shows the old and new times.
Record deletedA day's record was removed. The row keeps what it said.
Check-out undoneA check-out was cleared (usually a child checked out by mistake).
Entered laterA day was added after the fact from the Attendance page.
Parent correction / Parent entered day / Parent entered pickupA parent fixed or entered their own child's times at the kiosk (state subsidy program children).
Auto check-outNo one checked the child out, so the center's closing time was filled in.

Ordinary check-ins and check-outs are not changes, so they are not listed here. They are in Arrivals & Departures.

In Arrivals & Departures, any stay whose times were changed carries an Edited tag, so you can see at a glance which rows have history here.

Good to know

  • No one at your center can edit or remove entries in this report. Deleting a record adds a row here; it does not erase the history.
  • Older changes appear too. NestliCare has recorded time edits since June 2026 and deletions and undone check-outs since July 2026; this report makes that record visible.
