Can one family pay every two weeks while everyone else pays weekly?
Yes. Billing cadence is set per child through their billing plan, so give that child a bi-weekly plan and the rest of the center stays exactly as it is.
Yes. How often a family is invoiced is decided by the billing plan on each child, not by a center-wide setting. One child can be on a bi-weekly plan while every other child stays weekly or monthly, and auto-invoicing bills each on their own cadence.
To switch a child: open the family from Invoices & Finances → Accounts, go to the Setup tab, click Change next to the child's plan, and either pick an existing bi-weekly plan or type a new name and create one on the spot with the two-week amount and Biweekly as the interval. The step-by-step, with what to do about the week already in progress, is in Switch a family to bi-weekly billing.
Two things to know:
- The fortnight already under way is yours to invoice. Auto-invoicing only picks the family up from the next fortnight, so if this week's weekly invoice is out, void it and create one invoice for both weeks by hand. After that, nothing is manual.
- Bi-weekly runs on one shared fortnight. If the parent's two weeks start on the other Monday, give that family its own cycle start from the Bi-weekly cycle row on the same Setup tab. See Families on the other bi-weekly week.
If instead the parent wants to pay ahead but keep getting the usual weekly invoices, that's a family credit, not a plan change.
