How do I get my data out of NestliCare?
Download everything as one file from Settings → Privacy, export CSVs from reports and billing, or have backups emailed to you on a schedule.
Your data is yours, and you can take all of it yourself, any time:
- Everything at once: go to Settings → Privacy → Export all organization data and click Download everything (JSON). The file holds every family, child, attendance, incident, health, billing, document and staff record. The owner or a super admin can do this.
- CSV exports on the pages themselves: reports carry Export CSV, the Invoices page exports payments, Books exports your year, payroll exports approved hours, and Meals → Records exports every meal logged in a date range.
- Scheduled email backups: under Settings → Reports, Email Reports & Backups sends signed document copies and periodic attendance, meal and timesheet reports to you, so a copy lives outside NestliCare without you thinking about it.
Stuck on something? Email [email protected] and we'll help.
There are no cancellation fees and no export fees; leaving is allowed to be easy. We would rather keep you by being good than by being sticky.

Can I add my own activity types or change the icons?
Yes. Settings, Operations, Activity tiles lets you add tiles with your own name and icon, reorder them, and hide built-in tiles you never use.
Can I hide features we don't use?
Yes. Settings → Features turns whole modules off. Off hides, it never deletes, and turning a module back on brings everything back.
Why do attendance times look off by a few hours?
Attendance times follow the center's timezone, or the organization's if the center has none. If every time is shifted by the same amount, fix the timezone.
A parent replied to my email. Where is it?
Replies to an Email family message come back into NestliCare, under the bell, in the family's History tab, and on Sent emails. Answer there to keep the record.
