Why didn't invoices generate this morning?
The usual reasons in order, when to expect the run (from 9 AM your time, on the right day), and where to see exactly what the next run will do.
Check these in order:
- Is Auto-Generation on? The Auto-Invoice Generation panel is at the top of Billing & Payments → Invoices. Off means nothing ever generates.
- Is today a generation day? Weekly and bi-weekly plans generate on Mondays (or earlier if Generate Ahead is set), monthly plans on the 1st. A Wednesday with no monthly plans due has nothing to generate, and that is normal.
- Is it past 9 AM? The run starts at 9:00 AM in your center's timezone and retries over the following couple of hours. Before 9 there is nothing to see yet.
- Do the children have billing plans? Families with no plan on their enrollment are silently not billed. The panel's coverage warning counts them; fix the plans and they join the next run.
- Was the family skipped? The Upcoming view shows a Skipped badge if someone skipped that family for the run.
The Upcoming filter on the Invoices page is the definitive answer either way: it forecasts every run in the next 30 days with the same logic the job uses, so if a family shows there, they will generate.

Can auto-invoicing double-bill a family?
Not on its own, but mixing manual invoices with auto-generation can. The generator only checks its own invoices, not ones you created by hand.
How do I skip one family's invoice this cycle?
Use Skip on the Upcoming view. It suppresses that one family for that one run; everyone else bills as normal and the next cycle is untouched.
Can one family pay every two weeks while everyone else pays weekly?
Yes. Billing cadence is set per child through their billing plan, so give that child a bi-weekly plan and the rest of the center stays exactly as it is.
Why is an invoice lower than I expected?
A credit, discount, or subsidy line usually explains it, and partially covered families generate small invoices that look healthy but underbill.
