Why can't a teacher see a child?
Teachers only see children in rooms they're assigned to. Assign the teacher to the room, or check the child's enrollment, and it resolves.
Because teachers only see children in the rooms they are assigned to. When a teacher opens the app and a child (or every child) is missing, it is a room assignment issue, not a data loss:
- Is the teacher assigned to the room? Open them under Staff and check their Home Room, or assign them from the room's card. A brand-new teacher with no room sees no children at all.
- Is the child enrolled in that room? Check the child's enrollment on the family card. A child mid-move between rooms, or with a withdrawn enrollment, drops off the room's list.
- Did it just change? Room changes take effect the next time the teacher opens the app; a quick close-and-reopen picks them up.
Floaters who cover several rooms can be assigned to more than one.

Why is the Add Staff button greyed out?
It arms once first name, last name, and a valid email are filled in. Everything else on the form is optional and never blocks the button.
Can I reset a staff member's password?
No, and that's deliberate. They reset it themselves with Forgot password on the login screen; the link goes to their own email.
How do I fix a missed check-out?
Pick the day on the Attendance page and use Check Out on the child's row. Wrong absences and missed check-ins are fixed the same way.
Why do attendance times look off by a few hours?
Attendance and schedule times use your organization's timezone. If every time is shifted by the same amount, fix the timezone in Settings.
