Why can't a teacher see a child?
The app opens on the teacher's scheduled room (or home room). Every other room at their center is one tap away on the room pills. If a child is missing everywhere, check the child's enrollment.
Teachers can see every room at their center. The app just opens on the room they are working in today, so a child in another room is one tap away. Work through these in order:
- Is the teacher looking at the right room? The staff dashboard opens on the room they're scheduled in today, or their Home Room if they aren't on the schedule. If they're scheduled in several rooms it opens on All my rooms. The room pills along the top list every room at their center. Ask them to tap the child's room.
- Is the child enrolled? Check the child's enrollment on the family card. A child with no enrollment, or a withdrawn one, does not appear in any room.
- Is the child at a different center? Teachers only see rooms at their own center (plus any room they are scheduled to cover at another site today). Check the teacher's Center under Staff.
- Did it just change? Room and enrollment changes show the next time the teacher opens the app; a quick close-and-reopen picks them up.
A teacher with no schedule and no home room sees every enrolled child at their center. Setting a Home Room (called Primary Room when you edit an existing staff member) gives them a sensible starting room.

In the iPhone and Android apps it turns on once first name, last name, and a valid email are filled in. Everything else on the form is optional.
Can I reset a staff member's password?
No, and that's deliberate. They reset it themselves with Forgot password on the login screen; the link goes to their own email.
How do I fix a missed check-out?
Today, use Check Out at the top of the Attendance page. For a past day, NestliCare already closed it at closing time; correct it with Edit times.
Why do attendance times look off by a few hours?
Attendance times follow the center's timezone, or the organization's if the center has none. If every time is shifted by the same amount, fix the timezone.
