Can I reset a staff member's password?
No, and that's deliberate. They reset it themselves with Forgot password on the login screen; the link goes to their own email.
No. There is no admin-side reset button anywhere, and that is deliberate: a password reset goes to the person's own email, so nobody, including you, can take over an account or handle a temporary password.
What to tell them: on the login screen, click Forgot password?, enter your email, follow the link, set a new password. Works the same for teachers and admins.
Two snags and their fixes:
- Locked out after too many attempts. A short cool-down applies. Wait a few minutes, then use Forgot password.
- The reset email never arrives. Check spam, then check the email on their staff record for typos (open the person under Staff and edit). If a correct inbox still gets nothing, email [email protected] so we can check delivery.
If someone is leaving rather than locked out, deactivate them instead of worrying about their password.

Why can't a teacher see a child?
Teachers only see children in rooms they're assigned to. Assign the teacher to the room, or check the child's enrollment, and it resolves.
Why is the Add Staff button greyed out?
It arms once first name, last name, and a valid email are filled in. Everything else on the form is optional and never blocks the button.
Can a staff member also be a parent here?
Yes, with one email and one login. Add both profiles and they switch between the staff view and the parent view inside the app.
Do teachers need the web dashboard?
No. Everything a teacher does lives in the mobile app. Most centers tell teachers to just use the app and never open the dashboard.
