Why do attendance times look off by a few hours?
Attendance times follow the center's timezone, or the organization's if the center has none. If every time is shifted by the same amount, fix the timezone.
When every time is shifted by the same fixed amount (all check-ins showing an hour early, say), a timezone is set wrong. Attendance times use the center's timezone, or the organization's if the center doesn't set one, never the timezone of the device looking at them.
Check both, in this order:
- The center: Organization → Centers, edit the center, and look at Timezone. Use organization default means it follows the organization.
- The organization: Settings → General → Timezone. This also decides when morning jobs run, like auto-invoicing (about 9:40 to noon) and automatic late fees.
After the fix, check-ins and check-outs that were tapped live show the right time again. Times that staff typed in by hand while the timezone was wrong were saved at the wrong time, so they now look shifted the other way; correct those one by one with Edit times on the Attendance page.
If just one record is wrong rather than everything, that's a data entry slip, not a timezone problem; correct that record on the Attendance page.
