Can a staff member also be a parent here?
Yes, with one email and one login. Add both profiles and they switch between the staff view and the parent view inside the app.
Yes. A teacher whose own child attends your daycare uses one email and one login for both. You do not need two email addresses.
Set it up by giving the same email both memberships:
- If they are already staff, add them to their family as a parent the normal way. Because the email already belongs to someone at your organization, the parent membership links straight to their existing login.
- If they are already a parent, add them as staff. If the form points you to sending an invitation instead, send it; accepting from their existing login adds the staff role to it.
Once both profiles exist, a profile switcher appears in their app and on the web dashboard (in the sidebar, above Sign out). They flip between the staff view and the parent view without logging out, and notifications for both keep arriving on the same device.
The same works across organizations: a director who is a parent at a different NestliCare daycare holds both under one login.
