Can parents see other families' information?
No. A parent sees their own family's feed, invoices and incidents, and nothing about your operations. Group chats and group photos are the exceptions you control.
No. A parent sees their own family's information, and that is enforced on the server:
- The feed shows posts about their own child: photos, meals, naps, and notes. A group photo may show classmates, but only children whose families gave photo consent.
- Invoices and billing are their family's only.
- Messages are private threads between their family and your staff, unless your staff start a room or group chat. Parents in a group chat see each other's names and messages.
- Incidents are only ever their own child's.
- They see nothing of your operations: no reports, no staff surfaces, no other families' anything.
So when a parent asks "will other parents see this?", the answer for anything family-specific is no, unless it was posted in a group chat. The only things every parent sees are the things you deliberately send to everyone: announcements, newsletters, and shared calendar events.

Yes, with one email and one login. Add both profiles and they switch between the staff view and the parent view inside the app.
Can parents sign up for their own account?
No. You add each parent to their family, then send them an invitation by email or as a printout. That is why "tell them to sign up" never works.
Can two parents share one email address?
No. Each adult gets their own email and pickup code. A grandparent or babysitter still needs an address, but never has to sign in.
Do parents pay anything to use the app?
The app is free for parents to download and use. Online tuition payments carry a small convenience fee, and families can choose optional paid extras.
