Why hasn't a parent received their invite?
Spam folder first, then Resend. An amber pill means the link expired and needs Renew invite. The printout is the reliable fallback.
Work through these in order:
- Was it actually sent? Adding a parent does not email them. Check their row on the family card: Not invited means no email has gone out yet. Click Invite.
- Spam folder. Ask them to search their email for "NestliCare", including spam and junk.
- Resend. One click on their row. Resending also extends the existing link.
- Expired link. If the pill is amber and the button reads Renew invite, the link timed out. Renew issues a fresh one.
- Wrong or blocked address. Check the email on their record for typos. If a correct, working inbox still gets nothing after a resend, their provider may be blocking it: try a different address for them.
While you sort out email, hand them the printout: every send preview offers Download printout, a personal sheet with a QR code that gets them the app and one that signs them in.

A parent already has a NestliCare account
Invite them anyway. They sign in with their existing login and accept, and your daycare is added to the same account. No second password.
Can parents sign up for their own account?
No. You add each parent to their family and send them an invitation. That is why "tell them to sign up" never works.
Can one parent belong to two families here?
Not under one login. The app shows one family per daycare, so a parent who truly needs two families uses a second email for the second one.
How do I fix a missed check-out?
Pick the day on the Attendance page and use Check Out on the child's row. Wrong absences and missed check-ins are fixed the same way.
